PURPOSES
AND OBJECTIVES
The
objectives and purpose(s) of th e Association
of the Ovaherero Genocide
in the U.S. (hereinafter referred
to as The Association) shall
be to organize a work and study group consisting of persons
who have active interest in keeping alive the genocide
of the Ovaherero people of Namibia committed by Germany from
1904-1908. Major foci will be to seek:
Official
recognition of the genocide by the community
of nations;Reparations
from Germany and; Resources to build monuments in Namibia,
Botswana, and South Africa to honor those who sacrificed their
lives during the war of resistance against Germany.
